The Town Council are delighted to have organised a Service at the Cenotaph, after the pandemic-enforced break in the traditional event.

Attendees are encouraged to assemble on the pavements around the Cenotaph from 10:30 on Sunday, November 14th. The surrounding roads will be closed for the service, which will begin at around 10:45, led by the Shepton Mallet Branch of the Royal British Legion.

Everyone is then welcome at the Church Service at St. Peter and St. Pauls Church following the two-minute silence. There will be a parade down to the Church following the service at the Cenotaph.

Attendees are encouraged to observe good practice in regard of the ongoing and worsening COVID situation. Good hand hygiene and social distancing are strongly encouraged to allow all to enjoy this event safely.

We would like to thank the Shepton Mallet branch of the Royal British Legion, Shepton Mallet Carnival Committee, Highwayman Carnival Club and the Shepton Mallet Army Cadets for their help with this event.
