A team of 18 volunteers from the Shepton Horticultural Society and Friends of Windsor Hill Tunnels spent the morning replacing the plants in the town’s planters, swapping over annual bedding with perennial plants.

They moved two plastic troughs from outside the library to next to Morrisons, replacing them with displays of six barrels. The new plants will grow and fill it over the summer and flowers will be added for colour. The annual winter bedding plants that we removed have been reused for a temporary display in the Charlton Road telephone box.

A great example of the Town Council working together with volunteers to improve our town.
